Rene Marie Russo is an American actor, filmmaker, and a former supermodel. Known for her elegant beauty her long-standing presence in the competitive film industry reflects her talents and abilities as an actor. In the late 1970s the model began her career. She quickly established herself as one of the top names in this field. In the early 1990s, she began studying the theatre and acting. Rose fought Carla Esparza to win the Women s Strawweight Championship in The Ultimate Fighter 20 Finale. Rose won with a technical knockout that lasted less than three minutes in Round One. Rose was also given the title of Fighter Of The Night and set a record as it was the first time that a woman was ever a participant in a tournament with a major promoter worldwide. Namajunas was able to win several other fights. She also defeated Joanna Jedrzejczyk two times, which earned her Performance Of The Night awards from UFC.
